USC Norris Cancer Hospital

USC Norris Cancer Hospital is affiliated with the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center – one of the original eight comprehensive cancer research centers designated as such by the National Cancer Institute. A 60-bed inpatient facility providing acute and critical care, the hospital features a designated bone marrow transplantation unit.

The facility offers newer approaches to cancer management, such as immunotherapy and gene therapy in addition to more traditional treatments. State-of-the-art technologies in use include stereotactic radiosurgery, intensity modulated radiation therapy and image guided radiation therapy. The radiation oncology department is equipped with a CyberKnife and a Varian Trilogy Linear Accelerator.
